Before now the struggle to pass with minimum credit C6 has torn apart our educational standard,talk not of the present challenge of getting A or B if not , no university admission for you .
The facets of education in Nigeria has been collapsed into the face of the needle whose millions must face for success of life more so for the disadvantaged in our society .
This gives more push to unscrupulous parents and lazy students to patronize the so called 'must pass' centres for examination atrocities just to get the A grade to boost the JAMB points for admission.
The dangers are clear :
A student with grade A in Mathematics ,physics and chemistry at O level but cannot hold his hundred level 101 courses in the same subjects where he or she had A1 in O level result . This is the disaster that we should frighten as educators and standard bearer of our dear country
The evil act is pushed to higher ground .Those students get admission and a good number of such students source their way to get their need in our higher institutions and graduate or should I say they are 'allowed to go' .They source for HELPERS in the university just as they did during their O level examination .
The labour market is being filled up with hands that have nothing to offer for betterment of our dwindling economy .
Unfortunately ,the corner way of life has become their way of life and certainly they have the jobs .
Sincerely speaking , concerned individuals , authorities and stakeholders should look into this "good today '' method .This is not being pessimistic but reality of our society..
As we are all hoping for a better tomorrow ?
