Who is afraid of Mallam El-Rufai ?

It is becoming a torn in the flesh  of APC like the Yoruba proverbial saying ' Ko se je, ko se sonu'   

After almost  two years after the  senate refuse to confirm El- Rufai and the consequent dropping from the ministerial list of President Bola Tinubu ,his name continues to pop on the pages of newspapers 

Mallam El -Rufai correlation as Buharism and the connectivity  with the Almajiris cannot just  be thrown to garbage . In order to get some  marks , APC may still have to pick that paper thrown to the dust bin to write their 2027 examination 

El- Rufai has proved that he is a force or has the force network to be reckoned  with in the political train at least in the northsphere grassroot .

He singlehandedly initiated the coalition process and the political system is becoming weary .Who says the Mallam is no no nobody .The presidency got to its toes to spread the tentacle ,especially into the eastern part.

The  silent  grudges  in APC can be inferred  from their  National Executive Council meeting . The attendance showed only the present government officials and  players with  clear disconnect from the previous APC government 

 The only past president and vice president of APC were notably absent with excuse of late information! Also a good number of the past governors  did not attend .Among them were former governors like senator Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State , Rt Hon .Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi of Rivers, Mallam Nasir El-rufai of Kaduna, Dr. Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti ,former Senate President Ahmed Lawan among many others.

It will be self deceit to conclude that those absent have better genuine or pressing issuesMallam El-Rufai is in the open and many are throwing stone at him. However, many are undersigning and keeping alliances that will butter their bread come 2027.

Thus ,there is need for a vocal northerner that is APC  stalwalt who can do and  will fit into the role played by El-Rufai  ,for instance during the Emefielele saga .This is important as many imaginary lines will be drawn as 2027 approaches .
