UTME 2025 result outcry
It is no more a news that the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board has released the 2025 UTME result ,but the news is about the cries of several students ,teachers and parents
It was initially like a norm when the board announced the statistics that 2025 result had one and half million (1,500,000) out of less than two million candidates that scored below 50%.. However ,it became a national educational disaster when the real results where released
Marks released for several students that have proved their brilliance in various schools and external assessments gave a pointer and showed that JAMB is infallible
Firstly ,the associating centres need to be technically re-audited and scrutinized to ascertain their technical and infrastructural standard .
The possibility of compromse during technical approval of sone of the CBT centres cannot be overruled
Internet providers also must be woken up .As the is glitch is being experienced in banking that swallows many transfers is now in our educational system
More worrisome is the psychological effect that the JAMB result will have on the just commencing senior secondary school examination (WAEC).A student could not sit for his Further Mathematics on Monday as he became ill on Sunday after his 135/4/00 result was seen on Saturday .
The years of sacrifices and gannered confidence of these students are being crushed and eroded .This gives their mates with the slogan 'school na scamm ' a lauder voice.
Also ,the psychological and financial burdensome that this will place on the parents cannot be evaluated. Many costly means are already on the look by our dear parents as alternative means to JAMB for admission to university .The Jappa syndrome that has been turned low is been put on by some as not to keep their wards at home .
Teachers are down ,parents are crying , homes are scattered, prayer warriors and counsellors are turned to liars !
