Discipline in schools
Disciplinary has faded in the educational system .It has become a laissez faire system in which learners are obliged to do things in their own ways rightly or wrongly
Discipline is no more taken as corrections .Tutors ,educators ,teachers ,instructors or what ever name are at the mercy of the recalcitrant learners .Learning is jeopardized due to lack of standard control and discipline among the students .
Continuous helplessness at times have pushed some educators to a one time extreme action against the recalcirant behaviours of some students ,afterall ,is just leave the job and not this world .
This call for a second look into rules and ethics of the imported method of discipline in our school system
The home is not helping matters .Many parents are not in charge of their household . The children dictate and give what to do .Imagine a child locking out the mother over night becau isse he was scolded for a wrong doing . Also ,a parent came to fight just because her ward was told to knee for a wrong doing .
.Government at all tiers and arms must understand that a fish that swallow both the hook and the line will soon and very soon be consumed by the dagger of the hook
