President Trump : Greenland or NATO

 President Trump has sent  clear and unmistakable signal that he is serious about  taking  over Greenland.

President Trump said  the world is not secure unless the United States has "complete and total control" of the greenland  territory.

He insisted  that Denmark cannot protect Greenland from Russia or China and questioned why Greenland was even part of the Danish kingdom going by its geographical location 

Trump believe that his administration and US  has given so much to  NATO  than any other countries since its formation and expects  NATO supports as to doing something  for the US.

According to BBC , President Trump expect Europe to focus on the war in Ukraine and not Greenland.He gave no comments when asked about possible use of force 

However ,he was clear on imposing a 10 %  imports tarrif on countries that oppose his Greenland mission starting from February and to be increased to 25% in June U.sing He hope such punitive tariffs will  force other nations - allies or adversaries  to do his desires

President Trump continues to weigh the use of military action as to face a choice between keeping NATO intact or achieving his goal of taking over Greenland.

Meanwhile,Greenland rejects US take over as the prime minister says "we will not let ourselves be pressured", saying earlier: "The latest statements from the US, including threats of tariffs, do not change that line"



The Irish deputy prime minister has advised the EU .He said "EU must 'prepare for all eventualities', 

However ,Germany’s Chancellor Friedrich Merz says he will try to meet President Trump on Wednesday in Davos, at a World Economic Forum meeting, and adds that tariffs do not benefit anyone.
