 #ChinaBurkinaFaso  China - Burkina Faso military relationship Recently,The Armed Forces of Burkina Faso took   delivery of new NORINCO 6×6 VN22B armored fighting vehicles from China, making  reinforcement of armored capabilities for the country’s Army. The ceremony was led by Ibrahim Traoré, military officer and interim president and  the Minister of Defense and Veterans, Brigadier General Célestin Simpore. According to the official statement from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Burkina Faso, the delivered armored vehicles will be integrated into units of the Rapid Intervention Armored Battalion (BBIR), providing  “considerable firepower and high tactical flexibility on the battlefield.”  These wheeled vehicles feature a turret equipped with a 105 mm cannon, complemented by a coaxial 7.62 mm machine gun for infantry engagements.   #USCourt  US to release Subramanyam  Vedam after 43 years in prison for a murder  not committed ,fights deportation to India  According to BBC, Over 40 years ago, Mr Subramanyam Vedam was convicted of murdering his once-roommate Tom Kinser, a 19-year-old college student. The dead Kinser's body was found nine months after he went missing in am  area with a bullet wound in his skull. On the disappearance day, Vedam asked Kinser  for a ride. The vehicle Kinser drove was returned to its usual park with no one saw him or the car  being returned. Mr Vedam was charged with Kinser's murder and  had his passport and green card seized with no bail ,labelled a "foreigner likely to flee". After two years of trial ,he was convicted of murder and sentenced to life imprisonment.
