Nigeria Ambassadors designate for UK ,US and France



 President Bola Tinubu has forwarded a list of three ambassadorial nominees to the Senate for confirmation.They are Kayode Are from Ogun State, Aminu Dalhatu from Jigawa State, and Ayodele Oke from Oyo State .

Senate President Godswill Akpabio announced the submission during Wednesday’s plenary session.“Request for confirmation of appointments of non-career ambassador designates,” 

“The list contains three names for now. I am sure others will follow,” Akpabio added after reading the letter.

He then called on the Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs to report back within one week.

There is high speculation that the three nominees are likely to be for UK, US and France, being the paramount and concern of the country in this present security situation 

Recall that despite recalling all ambassadors and high commissioners , President Tinubu has not appointed any ambassadors, a delay that has drawn criticism. 

This is  also believed to have created a lapse in international relationship and influence with other countries and foreign institutions .
