 JAMB orders  universities to end 2025 admissions by  November 



The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has given all   public  (goverment)  universities to  conclude their 2025 admissions  on or before  October 31, 2025.Private universities are required to complete admissions by November 30, 2025.

 This was  a schedule approved during the 2025 Policy Meeting, which was led by the Minister of Education and attended by all the stakeholders

 All other tertiary institutions involving polytechnics , colleges of education and monotechnic of both public and private, were given December 2025 to finalize their admissions .

JAMB further appealed to all  institutions to complete all post-UTME tests and screenings within the planned timeframe  .

According to JAMB, the decision is aimed   to stabilize the academic calendar of the tertiary institutions and guarantee equal access to admission and  fairness to slots across all tertiary institutions in Nigeria .

JAMB has also urged institutions to conduct and complete all post-UTME screenings without delay, well in advance of the deadlines.
